Jeremy Churcher, Peter Norris, Will Hornby, Tom Graham
The meeting started at 7:40 pm at the Seven Stars in Kingsbridge
- Minutes from October’s Meeting – were accepted as a good record of the previous CSSH Club meeting
- Arrangements for the CSSH Annual General Meeting. – It was agreed to hold the AGM on Monday the 3rd of December at the Seven Stars. Will Hornby to email details to all club members.
- CSSH Club Dinner – There was a breif discussion about different venues but we decided it would be better to organise something after the club’s AGM and perhaps in the New Year.
- CSSH is now affiliated to British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials for 2019 – Will Hornby informed those present at the meeting that we have succesfully affiliated to both aformentioned organisations. We now also comply with the CTT national regulations after Tom Evens volunterred to be appointed as the clubs 2nd regional delegate.
We discussed oranising a club trip to a sportive.
Jeremy Churcher suggested the Maratona dles Dolomites
Tom Graham suggested the White Horse Challenge which he could guide us around with his local knowledge. However having just checked the event is now fully subscribed for 2019.
Will Hornby keen on the Ronde Van Vlanderen. Tom, Pete and Jeremy less keen on the flemish weather in spring or riding on cobbles. Entries open on the 7th of November and the beer and hot dogs are awesome.
We also discussed organising a big ride perhaps a summer Youth Hostel Trip which would be more likely to have favourable weather conditions.
Those at the meeting to come back with more suggestions shortly and hopefully we will organise something soon.
